The developer’s brochure lists 5 hospitals within about 8 km of Gattahalli, off Sarjapur Road. The closest are Springleaf Hospital at 5 km and Sacred Oak Hospital at 5.5 km. Kauvery, Manipal Sarjapur Road and E-City Hospital sit 7 to 8 km away. For complex care, larger centres at Bellandur and Bommasandra are also within reach.
The 5 hospitals on the brochure list
Adarsh Developers prints a short hospital list in the Welkin Park brochure. The distances are rough road distances from the site. We checked each hospital’s own website or listing pages in September 2026. The table sums up what we could confirm.
| Hospital | Distance (brochure) | Area | What we could verify (September 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Springleaf Hospital | 5 km | Electronic City, Hosur Road | Multispeciality, NABH-accredited |
| Sacred Oak Hospital | 5.5 km | Electronic City, Hosur Road | 60 beds, ICU, NICU and PICU, 24-hour emergency |
| Kauvery Hospital | 7 km | Electronic City | Multispeciality, NABH-accredited |
| Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road | 8 km | Sarjapur Road | Multispeciality, 24-hour emergency and ambulance |
| E-City Hospital | 8 km | Doddathoguru, Electronic City | 100 beds, multispeciality |
Four of the 5 names sit on the Electronic City side, not on Sarjapur Road itself. That makes sense once you look at a map. Gattahalli lies on Rayasandra Road, which runs toward Hosa Road and Electronic City. So your nearest care usually lies south-west of the site, toward Hosur Road.
Bed counts and services change from year to year. Treat the 5-row table as a starting point, not a final word. Call the front desk of each hospital before you rely on any detail. A 2-minute call can confirm the emergency wing, the ICU and the insurers they accept.
Close-by care in 5 to 6 km
Springleaf Hospital is listed as Springleaf Healthcare in Electronic City. Its address is on Hosur Main Road, opposite the Infosys campus at Konappana Agrahara. It is NABH-accredited, as per its own listing. That makes it a useful stop for fevers, small injuries and routine tests.
Sacred Oak Hospital sits on Hosur Main Road in Electronic City Phase 2, opposite a D-Mart store. Its website lists 60 beds. It also lists a medical ICU, a surgical ICU, a newborn ICU and a child ICU. It runs 24-hour emergency and pharmacy services, as per the same site.
Neither of these is a large tertiary hospital. They are best for first response, child care and short stays. For major surgery or trauma, you will likely move to a bigger centre. That is normal for most homes on the Sarjapur side of Bengaluru.
Multispeciality options at 7 to 8 km
Kauvery Hospital Electronic City is part of the Kauvery group from Tamil Nadu. Health listing sites say it opened in 2020 and holds NABH accreditation. Sources differ on its bed count, so we leave that out.
Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road is the only brochure name on Sarjapur Road itself. Its website lists 24-hour emergency and ambulance care. It also lists cancer care, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics and paediatrics. Health listing sites put it at about 206 beds, but the hospital’s own page does not state a figure.
E-City Hospital is in Doddathoguru, Electronic City. Its own website lists a 100-bed capacity. It covers general medicine and surgery across several specialities.
At 8 km, a drive can take 20 minutes or much longer. Peak-hour traffic on Sarjapur Road and Hosur Road decides the time, not the distance. Do a test drive at 9 am and 7 pm before you pick your go-to hospital.
Larger hospitals for complex cases
Two big centres sit a little further out. The developer’s location map marks one of them, and the other is on Hosur Road.
Sakra World Hospital, Bellandur. Sakra opened in 2014 on the Outer Ring Road side of Bellandur. Health listing sites describe it as a 350-bed multi-speciality hospital. It began as a joint venture of the Kirloskar group with Toyota Tsusho and SECOM of Japan. Its website lists round-the-clock emergency care. It also runs a smaller clinic on Sarjapur Road.
Narayana Health City, Bommasandra. This large campus sits on Hosur Road at Bommasandra, south of Electronic City. It holds the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences and the Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre. Narayana Health says the cardiac centre has 19 cardiac operation theatres and 8 cath labs. The campus also hosts a cancer institute and an eye hospital.
Two newer names have also opened on the Sarjapur Road stretch nearer the city. Apollo Hospitals runs a Sarjapur Road unit, which its website calls a 200-bed hospital. SPARSH opened a 250-bed hospital on Sarjapur Road in 2025, as per public listings. Neither is on the brochure list, so check the drive time from Gattahalli yourself.
How to plan for an emergency
A good plan takes 30 minutes to set up and can save far more time later. Here is a simple 6-step list for a new home near Sarjapur Road.
- Save 2 numbers first. Dial 108 for Karnataka’s free ambulance service. Dial 112 for the national emergency line.
- Pick 2 hospitals, not 1. Choose one within 6 km for quick first aid. Choose one large centre for serious cases.
- Save each hospital’s ambulance line. Private hospitals often send their own ambulance faster than a public call.
- Check your insurance network. Ask your insurer which of the 5 brochure hospitals offer cashless care. Insurer lists change every 12 months or so.
- Drive the route once. Note the gate you would use and the spot where the emergency wing sits, for 2 hospitals.
- Keep a file ready. Store ID, insurance card, blood group and current medicines in 1 folder.
Families with a newborn should ask which hospital has a newborn ICU. Sacred Oak lists 1 on its website. Parents over 65 may need a heart-ready centre within reach, such as the Bommasandra campus on Hosur Road.
Gated projects also help in small ways. In a site with a reported 8 towers, security staff can guide an ambulance to the right block. At Welkin Park, the master plan shows a separate emergency vehicle access route inside the site. Ask the facility team how they plan to handle ambulance entry after the 2028 handover.
Where Welkin Park sits on this map
Adarsh Welkin Park is at Gattahalli, off Sarjapur Road, on Rayasandra Road beside Gattahalli Lake. The location section shows the roads that link the site to Sarjapur Road and to Hosa Road. From there, the Electronic City hospitals sit to the south-west. Manipal and the Sarjapur Road hospitals sit to the north-west.
Inside the project, the 73,000 sq ft clubhouse lists a health club, a gym and an aerobics and yoga hall. The outdoor plan adds a reflexology path, an acupuncture walk and a yoga deck. You can see all 75+ items under amenities. These support daily fitness at Welkin Park. They do not replace a clinic or a hospital, which is why the 5 names above matter.
Possession is reported for December 2028 onwards. Hospital supply on Sarjapur Road has grown in recent years, and new units may open before then. We will update this page when we verify new openings. You can also read more area guides on our blog.
Quick checks before you buy
Healthcare access is one of many factors in a home choice. Use these 4 quick checks during your site visit.
- Time the drive. Go from the site to the nearest 24-hour emergency ward at peak hour.
- Ask about referrals. Check if the hospital treats trauma, heart attacks and strokes on site, or refers them out.
- Match your insurer. Line up at least 2 hospitals within 10 km.
- Think about age. A home with young children or parents over 65 needs a closer plan.
We also suggest you compare this list with the one for your current home. If you live near Koramangala or HSR Layout today, a big hospital may sit closer to you than it will from Gattahalli. If you live in Electronic City today, the 5 names above may already be your local hospitals.
Distances here come from the Welkin Park brochure, so treat them as rough. The FAQ on our home page covers more project details. If you want a site visit that includes a drive past the nearest 2 hospitals, we can plan it with you.
